The black and yellow (ahem…varsity maize) colorway, when applied to sneaker, is almost always a winner. The latest evidence of this is the LIVESTRONG x Nike Trainer 1.2—featuring Flywire tech—which will cost you about 90 beans.

Cyclist Lance Armstrong’s LIVESTRONG Foundation has developed a sizeable collection of Nike shoes in styles benefiting from this color scheme. Even if you take part of the proceeds going to a good cause (fighting cancer) out of the equation, the sneakers still look pretty hot.
