The Cranberry and Eggplant colorups of the Nike 1/2 Cent have been on sneaker head’s radar for some time. Preview pictures and conjecture have surfaced over the past few months and now we finally have detailed shots of the two vertebrae-popping pairs. Just like the foamposites before them, the 1/2 Cent’s are completely clad in Eggplant and Cranberry respectively.

Eggplant on foamposite has been a staple for Nike of late.  We’ve seen eggplant on the re-released Nike Foamposites and Nike Air Penny IIIs this year, and one could surmise there’s more of the fabled fruit to come. For this round of 1/2 Cent’s, Nike has paired the Eggplant and Cranberry uppers with the ever-popular Icy. As far as Nike fusions go, the Nike 1/2 Cent remains one of the more popular, and with the buzz surrounding these two, there’s nothing to suggest the trend will end.
