Sneak Peek: Halo-Reach
For all you Halo lovers, you should know about Halo: Reach by now. Microsoft Game Studios plans to release the beast on September 14. If you’re just now joining the world of gaming, Halo is hands down the best science-fiction first-person shooter in the market.
If you’ve ever played 007 Golden Eye back on Nintendo 64 with your friends, you’ll appreciate Halo LAN parties at the pad. If you don’t have “local” friends to play with, you can massacre online by yourself or with your “long distance” friends.
Unlike Halo Wars and ODST, Reach is an actual continuation of the story line following Halo 1, 2 and 3. The game is ever-evolving in features, weaponry, advantages and vulnerability—all to give the gameplay a more realistic feel and a justified balance in combat.
Looks like Halo and Call of Duty is rehashing the battle of the past. What’s your pick of the litter this fall—will it be Halo Reach or COD Black Ops?
Official trailer from E3 2010 conference:
“Spartans never die George, they’re just missing in action.”
