Nike SB Dunk Low Safari “Kenny Powers”
If you’re a fan of the crass, yet irresistible HBO series East Bound and Down, you’ll recognize the inspiration for these SB Dunks instantaneously. Kenny Powers is known for two things: his 100 mph heater and his purple-and-leopard-print jet ski. The Dunk takes its cues directly from the ostentatious jet ski, but only time will tell if these hit productions. As we’ve seen before with the McFly Hypermax’s, kicks that draw their inspiration from licensed products often times hit snafus when it comes to production. Hopefully, these kicks will stay inspired by the show and won’t attempt a direct licensing, since that ‘s what usually leads to production malfunctions. Keep your fingers crossed for these to drop next spring, and take solace in the fact that East Bound and Down season two is a go, and set in Mexico!
