Mya Unleashes The Thickness in Miami
Our dear friend, Mya, took a moment to hit South Beach last week for some sun and pre-tropical storm waves. The super-thick singer was taking a break from recording her new album and decided to let her good-n-plenty platter breathe in the sea air. Who would deny themselves such a simple pleasure?
Mya’s current project seems to be heading in the direction of dance/club music. She performed her newest single “Love Is The Answer” in San Diego a few weeks ago and got a pretty good response from the pill-poppers and butch queens partygoers that night.
Are flop artists running for the electronic hills now? These records usually do rather well overseas, especially in Europe. I mean, Kelly Rowland may not be bubbling in the States, but she is snatching wigs and taking names across the pond. Mya and the other glowstick champions may not hit number one on 106 & Park, but it’s better than delivering chop-chops for Chicken Kitchen…and you know it would only be a matter of time.
Mya has always been super fine, and this just makes her better in my opinion.
