New Couple Alert: Maino & Monica
Looks like R&B starlet Monica‘s thug lovin’ has struck again, this time in the form of Brooklyn rapper Maino. The couple were boo’ed up at T.I. and Tiny‘s wedding this weekend and looked very happy together.
Maino and Tip are labelmates over at Atlantic Records and have been friends for some time. Monica was one of Tiny’s bridesmaids at the wedding, so we already know cute double dates are on the horizon. I’ve had the pleasure of meeting Maino numerous times and he seems like a great guy, and Monica appears to be a real sweetheart and amazing mother to her sons Rocko, 5, and Romelo, 2, so we wish the lovebirds well!
The love connection started when Monica tweeted her fans, asking who her leading man should be in for the “Love All Over Me” video. Maino tweeted back, insisting he be chosen. As you can see below, Maino got his way (in more ways than one):
