Common’s Got A New Girl? Does Serena Know Or Care?
Over the weekend, my longtime crush, Common, performed in Atlanta at One Music Fest, but his stellar performance isn’t what people were talking about. According to witnesses, the beloved hip-hop star spent the entire event boo’d up with choreographer Fatima Robinson. Perhaps best known for her work with the late Aaliyah Haughton, Robinson has also choreographed videos for Michael Jackson, The Black Eyed Peas, Mary J. Bligie, Rihanna, and Will Smith. From what I hear, when he wasn’t on stage, Common spent the entire event at the dancing diva’s side.
This rumored new romance comes on the heels of the “Universal Mind Control” rapper’s split with Serena Williams. The duo broke up in May after a two-year courtship. Although Common visited the tennis champ after her recent foot surgery—she needed to repair damage to her right foot after cutting it on broken glass at a restaurant), the possibility of reconciliation between the two is looking less and less likely.
Sidenote: Common seems to love athletic woman—I can be athletic (shifts positions on the couch and picks up remote).
