Solebox x Reebok Pump Omni Zone
Before kids wanted Nike SBs in every pastel color palette imaginable, there was another brand that lit up the night. If you’re old enough, you’ll recall L.A. Gear, and if you were a budding fashionista in third grade, you probably owned or idolized a pair. Since you probably can’t squeeze into a kids’ size 7 anymore, Reebok and German footwear purveyor Solebox have you covered. They’ve collaborated on the classic Pump Omni Zone and added a set of flashing red lights to the unassuming translucent side panel. Another interesting addendum is the lace lasso which gives the kick a distinguished look in the daylight when your shoe light won’t be as striking. These are set to release in limited quantities early next year, so unless you’re planning a transcontinental flight, keep your eyes on the Solebox web-store come January.
