Rihanna’s New Tattoo Is All Wrong!
Our edgy little friend Rihanna has been hunted by NYC police these past few days, and they’re all talking about her new tattoo. The singer planted the ink on her neck during a visit to a New York tattoo parlor with her boyfriend, Matt Kemp. It says “rebelle fleur” in fancy French lettering, which should mean “rebellious flower”—the only problem is the tatt is grammatically incorrect.
The French would actually place the adjective after the noun, so basically the words are backwards and Rihanna’s new tattoo really says “flower rebellious.” Oops! Well, that just goes to show everyone—if you’re going to get a tattoo in a foreign language or some sort of exotic symbol, make sure you do some research first.
