Ciara And 50 Cent Rendezvous In NYC
Ciara and 50 Cent are still trying to keep their rumored relationship on the low, but it didn’t take a genius to figure out the two had a romantic rendezvous over the weekend. Reportedly, the duo arrived at the same mid-town Manhattan hotel on Friday evening, but slickly made separate entrances and exits.
Although the pair have spent the last few years going to great lengths to hide their romance (as recently as June, Ciara denied she and the hip-hop star were dating during an interview with DJ Envy), the “Ride” singer and 50 have been spotted at some of the same events at the same time, but always kept a safe distance from each other. In May, the owner of a Northridge, California furniture store revealed via a post on Twitter that the couple had stopped by and purchased various household items.
Hiding their relationship is having the opposite intended effect Ciara and 50 wanted since the pair can’t be within 100 feet of each other without the gossip mill going into overdrive, but I understand why she may be weary of going public considering how the “Baby By Me” rapper once put his ex-flame Vivica Fox on blast for allegedly using him for publicity. Then again, considering the downward trajectory Ciara’s career has taken in the last year or so (her last effort, Fantasy Ride, flopped, and the buzz surrounding her upcoming album hasn’t been positive), the kind of publicity that comes from dating one of the most recognizable recording artists in the world might not be such a bad thing.
Ciara is doing just fine on her own thank you. Keep your snide hater comments to yourself.
