Kimora Lee Simmons announced last week, via Twitter, that she will no longer be with Baby Phat as of next month.

As OMGee reported (and Kimora re-tweeted):

After loyal fans and customers began to approach Kimora via Twitter, commenting on the rumor flying around that she was parting ways with Baby Phat and Baby Phat’s parent company, Kellwood Company, she decided to come clean and share the news.

The first tweet that made me suspicious was when K tweeted a search for a model for her lines, except she didn’t mention Baby Phat, “I am looking 4 models for my Kouture, KLS, and Fabulosity lines!! Pls send ur pics and resumes 2 KLS.COM.” And finally the last tweet that made it official to me that Baby Phat and Kimora were no longer together was this one when another fan asked her, “Are you not doing Baby Phat anymore,” to which she answered, “As of sept, sadly NOT!”

Though reasons why she is leaving Baby Phat have not yet been released we can imagine it was probably in financial trouble. Another fan asked Kimora, “Do you regret selling it,” and Kimora replied first saying, “GR8 QUESTION.” The fan then stated on another tweet, “I think @OfficialKimora should BUY @BabyPhat back,” and Kimora followed back with, “I thought abt it…but nahhh!”

By the sounds of her tweets, it sounds like Kellwood pushed her out.

Who do you think should take over her throne?
