In preparation for Robert Rodriguez’s film Machete which drops on September 3rd, Twentieth Century Fox commissioned storied photographer and videographer Estevan Oriol to create a video with Machete star Danny Trejo and renowned artist Mr. Cartoon. Both men are of Mexican descent and call the city of Angeles home; they talk about the lowrider culture in which they grew up. They cruise the streets of East L.A. in lowriders, and reminisce about how the city and culture has shaped them. The hydraulics are real, the tats are real, and the movie promises to be a fast paced bloodbath. Catch the Estevan Oriol flick below, and get your scroll on to see the movie trailer below.
