Mr. Shawn Carter‘s portfolio is about to get bigger, as it’s been announced Jay-Z is teaming up with Major League Baseball’s New York Yankees to release a new line of clothing, according to AllHipHop.  The threads will be co-branded with NY Yankee and Blueprint 3 logos, produced by New Era 59/50 and Majestic, and available on August 30th exclusively at Yankee Stadium. The offerings being sold includes hoodies, t-shirts, and hats.

The line is being launched in honor of Yankee Stadium’s first concert series taking place on September 13th and 14th, which will be headlined by Hova himself along with Detroit rapper Eminem, and serves as the second stop on their “Home and Home” tour. The first shows take place at Comerica Park in Detroit, MI on September 3rd and 4th.

Would you buy some of Jay-Z’s Yankee gear? Share your thoughts!
