The latest chapter in the sordid saga involving Fantasia Barrino and her married boyfriend, Antwaun Cook, finds the American Idol alum three months pregnant by the former T-Mobile store employee. An insider told The National Enquirer:

“She’s about three months along, and it’s definitely Antwaun’s baby. Right now she can’t show how happy she is in public—but she’s absolutely thrilled. Fantasia got what she wanted. She feels Antwaun will have to marry her now.”

The insider went on to downplay Fanny’s “suicide attempt” and describe the great lengths the singer would go to in order to get Cook’s attention:

“Fantasia took the pills, but she knew what she was doing. Fantasia had no intention of taking her life. I think it was just a plot she cooked up to push Antwaun’s buttons. And it worked…Fantasia is a master manipulator…when Paula [Antwaun’s wife] finds out Fantasia is pregnant and Antwaun is the father, she’s going to flip…Fantasia is very pleased with herself.”

Now before you go picking apart the veracity of my source, keep in mind The National Enquirer was the first to report Tiger Woods was having an extramarital affair; the first to report the marital issues of Mel Gibson and Billy Joel (both of whom divorced their spouses not too long after); and the first to reveal O. J. Simpson had authored a book called If I Did It (what a dumb ass), among other firsts.

As for Fanny, who once who described herself as “functionally illiterate,” apparently, when it comes to making life choices, she’s just plain straight up illiterate!
