Young Money’s CEO and hip-hop mega star Lil Wayne has been locked up since March of this year. He’s serving time in Riker’s Island for a gun charge, but he’s scheduled to be released November 5th. And although he’s been in jail the majority of the year, Weezy hasn’t been forgotten. The amount of work Wayne put in before he went to jail is definitely showing, and he’s dropped more than ten videos while locked down. From his features with various artists including Gucci Mane and Playaz Circle, to the solo tracks from his rock-inspired album, Rebirth, Wayne’s been staying on the TV and computer screen. The vision for Dwayne Carter to take over the music world hasn’t been lost and when Wayne gets out, it will seem as if he’s never been away from us.
