The NBA dunk contest has been somewhat lame since Vince Carter redefined what can be done with a basketball once airborne. Even though super athletes like LeBron James, Dwyane Wade and Kobe Bryant could bring some excitement back to the game, the possibility of being injured or wanting to just take a day off supersedes the desire to make the dunk contest worth watching. Although many think it has all been done before, Midnight Madness proved that we haven’t seen anything yet. The contest featured Justin “Jus Fly” Darlington against Guy Dupuy in a showdown that would make Michael Jordan and Dominique Wilkins blush.
