More Details Emerge On T.I. And Tiny’s Arrest
Details surrounding the arrest of T.I. and Tiny on Wednesday night in Los Angeles are beginning to emerge. According to MTV News, the couple was pulled over after the hip-hop star made an illegal U-turn on Sunset Boulevard. Upon smelling marijuana wafting from the window of the car, police conducted a search of the vehicle during which they found some pills that “resembled ecstasy.” The newlyweds, who were charged with felony possession of a controlled substance, were released during the early hours of Thursday morning after paying a $10,000 bail.
In light of this latest run-in with the law, speculation about how T.I. will be affected is running rampant. The self-proclaimed “King of the South” is currently on probation after serving several months in prison for weapons possession charges. According to TMZ, T.I. has already been told by his probation officer to return to Atlanta while authorities evaluate whether this latest incident constitutes a violation of his probation. According to the United States Attorney Sally Quilian:
“The probation office is in the process of determining what happened and will make a recommendation regarding Mr. Harris [T.I.'s last name] when they have all the facts.”
Not to take away from the seriousness of this situation, but it appears T.I. may want to hold off on calling his next album King Uncaged, I’m just saying.
