Judge Calls Snooki A “Lindsay Lohan Wannabe”
Judge Damian Murray went in on Snooki today during her court appearance, calling her a “Lindsay Lohan wannabe” as she plead guilty to disturbing the peace on a Seaside Heights, NJ beach during the taping of the third season of MTV’s Jersey Shore.
Snooki (born Nicole Polizzi) was charged on July 30 after she was spotted using a beer bong and falling off a bicycle, according to TMZ.com.
Murray questioned Snooki’s behavior, remarking that he wasn’t sure if her actions were scripted for the sake of the show but if they were, she needed to decide “if it was worth trading your dignity for a paycheck.” He then went on to call her “rude and self-indulgent” but in a kinder gesture, dismissed her disorderly conduct charges. Instead of serving a potential 90 day sentence, Snooki was given two days community service and a $533 fine.
Snooki then addressed the court, saying she was “very embarrassed” and she was never in this kind of situation before.
In related news, Dina Lohan has already spoken on the judge’s comparison, telling TMZ, “The family is very disappointed that a judge would say that in a court of law.”
