Federal Judge Tells T.I. To Explain Things
T.I.’s got some ‘splainin to do! According to TMZ, the hip-hop star was told yesterday he’d better get in front of an Atlanta federal judge quick, fast, and in a hurry to explain why he shouldn’t be thrown back in the slammer for probation violation after he and his wife, Tameka “Tiny” Cottle, were busted in Los Angeles for illegal drug possession earlier this month. Tip’s probation stems from an eight-month prison term he recently served for gun charges.
A summons for the “Got Your Back” rapper was signed by a judge and his probation officer citing possession, testing positive for opiates, and association with a felon as some of the possible violations. Although no court date has been set, T.I.’s attorney is confident that when they have their day in court, he and the rest of Tip’s legal team “will have an opportunity to present mitigating evidence or arguments on T.I.’s behalf.” Not sure how they’re planning on doing that (unless Tiny takes the fall), but then again, in the words of my criminal law professor, “Justice isn’t totally blind, it sees the color green.” And fortunately for Tip, he’s got plenty of that color in the bank.

Ti honestly after all the warnings and chances..he deserves whatever he gets…this is just ridiculous.
