Tyler Perry has drawn much criticism for his films as of late. While some thoroughly enjoy Perry’s formula, others are tired of the sameness and predictability. With that comes Perry’s latest film, an adaptation of the 1975 play For Colored Girls Who Have Considered Suicide When The Rainbow Is Not Enuf. The film has an all-star cast of leading ladies, young and old. Janet Jackson, Whoopi Goldberg, Thandie Newton, Kerry Washington, Phylicia Rashad and others grace the screen in the highly anticipated film. But will Perry do the play justice? Check out the trailer below. The film releases November 5th.
