Move Over Bed Bugs, Stink Bugs Have Arrived

New Yorkers thought they had it bad with bed bugs. Well, there are new critters in town, and they’re about to make a big stink.
Stink bugs have become an epidemic in the eastern U.S. recently, invading homes and destroying fruit and vegetable crops. Although the bugs do not bite, they are tough to get rid of, as you can imagine by looking at the main image. On top of that—they stink! Once they are irritated or crushed, they omit a foul order similar to that of a skunk.

Entomologists advise against the use of pesticides. Instead, they recommend collecting living and dead bugs using a vacuum cleaner.
Gross!
