Air Jordan I Banned x Fat Joe
Rappers get perks. In this case, it’s longtime sneaker aficionado Fat Joe who got his hands on a pair of the yet-to-be-released “Air Jordan 1 Banned.” Via Twitter, Joey Crack dropped some up-close images of the new shoes. Sporting an “X” on the heel, the primarily black and red kicks are an ode to the original Nike Air Jordan that cost Michael Jordan $5000 every game he wore them since they didn’t match the NBA’s uniform guidelines. Not like Air Jordan couldn’t afford the fine, though.
