This new adidas Originals ZX Trail Mid DB hiker is perplexing. Actually, the colorway seen above makes it obvious the shoe takes its cues from the infamous “Beef & Broccoli“-colored Timberland field boot (photo below). The trail show is designed by James Bond for adidas’s David Beckham collection and itself uses elements of the Marathon Mid and ZX track shoe. Not sure what adidas was thinking—guess there’s a market for jack moves like this. Not for the first time, or last, something like this will happen. Would you rock these or stick with the Timberland classic?
