Jay-Z Prepares The Hits Collection Vol. 1
Island Def Jam has announced The Hits Collection Vol. 1 from the label’s former president and star player, Jay-Z. The anthology will be released on CD and vinyl, as well as a Deluxe Edition Package and a Collector’s Edition Box Set.
The Deluxe Edition is a two-disc set that will include five previously unreleased tracks and a 32-page book embossed with Jay’s signature diamond motif. The Collector’s Edition Box Set comes in a hardcover box and, in addition to the unheard tracks, it features a 100-page coffee table book of never-before-seen photos of Hov and his crew throughout the years.
The Hits Collection Vol. 1 will be available from November 22 (one day after “little brother” Kanye West‘s new album, My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy, drops).
