Young Chris Talks Roc-A-Fella Split, Young Gunz Memories & His New Solo Career

Part of the Roc-A-Fella Records dynasty with the Young Gunz, starring in movies (State Property) and touring since the age of 15, Philadelphia-born Christopher Ries a.k.a Young Chris is an industry veteran at 26-years-old.

Having just signed a deal with producer/writer Rico Love‘s new label, Division 1/Universal Motown, Chris talks about his exciting transition into a solo artist, taking the high road during Jay-Z and Damon Dash‘s infamous Roc-A-Fella split, classic memories from that era, his rhyming partner Young Neef‘s status and Jay’s words of encouragement on his new career moves.
