Contrary to what some may say, the West Coast is alive and thriving. For proof, check out this short film featuring Pac Div, Dom Kennedy and Nipsey Hussle.
LA is MY Playground is a short film depicting the subculture of burgeoning L.A. hip-hop acts, starring Nipsey Hussle, DOM Kennedy & Pac Div (with a special guest appearance by David Banner). The film captures the once-in-a-lifetime experiences of these artists on their rise to stardom. Each artist has a song in the film that directly relates to LA, “Showtime”–DOM Kennedy, “The Mayor”–Pac Div, “Hometown” –Nipsey Hussle, demonstrating the different places in their careers.
