Missy Elliot Dismisses Marriage Talk
Missy Elliot has dismissed reports she’s tied the knot with her rumored girlfriend, Sharaya. According to Mediatakeout.com, the duo exchanged “I dos” after returning to the U.S. following a world tour during which their relationship grew closer. Immediately after it was first reported on Thursday, word of the “One Minute Man” singer/rapper’s wedded bliss began spreading like wildfire over the ‘Net, and when questioned by someone on Twitter as to whether or not she put a ring on it, Missy answered:
“No I did not! Do not believe the lies.”
Missy squashed any remaining doubt by later tweeting:
“I will say this once I am NOT Married!!! Now 4 the ppl who don’t have time Gossip May U have a Blessed Money Making Weekend!”
Speculation as to the nature of Missy and Sharaya’s relationship and photographs of the ladies out and about together began circulating over the summer. If there’s any truth to the rumors, then the two are mixing business with pleasure since Missy is reportedly also the aspiring singer’s manager.
