Can Scream 4 Reclaim The Horror Throne?

It’s been fourteen years since Wes Craven‘s Scream franchise began and a decade since the last installment was released. While the current horror genre now ventures more into the torture film area, it will be interesting to see how Scream 4 fares when compared to films like Saw and Paranormal Activity. And although the last Scream installment was a critical failure, one has to wonder if a decade off will bring some innovation to the cast which will include Neve Campbell, David Arquette and Courtney Cox. Many of the original survivors will return with a younger generation of victims having to deal with “Ghostface.”
Check out the trailer and then wait until April 15, 2011 to see it in theaters.
