The Dos and Don’ts of Man Purses (AKA “Murses”)
If you’re brave enough to carry a “murse,” or man purse, we have a few ways to increase your confidence while doing so.
Our society is simply not used to seeing men carrying them, but there is a way to comfortably stash all of your belongings in these babies without receiving odd stares.
Here are the dos and don’ts of murses:
THE CROSS-BODY
DON’T:
Straight up, Lupe looks like he’s carrying a women’s purse. The bright red color and print coupled with the shiny details are begging for attention.
DO:
David Beckham
Beckham’s cross-body bag is rugged and simple. Worn towards his behind and paired with a sleek suit, it just works.
THE HANDBAG
DON’T:
Jon Gosselin
I sincerely hope Jon Gosselin is carrying his girl’s purse here, because a flashy metallic silver handbag is not a good look for this man.
Even with the bold tangerine color, Kanye oozes swag with this piece. He looks like he means business.
OVER THE SHOULDER
DON’T:
Tom Brady
As lovely and macho as this NFL player is, the short straps on this murse make it look…questionable.
Kevin Jonas
This Jonas bro’s got the look right, as the long strap gives the murse a tougher look.

Cross-body purses (which are rather bags) are the only accepted form for men.
…oh, and waist bags, but worn cross-body/over the shoulder and not around your belly.
why should it matter if they carry one if you dont want to wear one fine but dont knock off what other people wear just because your jealous or confused i thought this what America home of the free not home of the judgemental
