Halloween is all about costumes, scaring others and being creepy. From people dressing up as monsters to movies being made for the occasion, Halloween’s influence is strong. Even some hip-hop artists have taken some of Halloween’s spirit and applied it to their music videos. Whether it’s getting swagged out in a crazy costume or making the video’s storyline similar to a horror movie, it’s evident these artists are fans of October 31st. Check out the eerie vids below:

Busta Rhymes: “Gimme Some More”

Busta Rhymes and Hype Williams must have gone crazy in Party City or something, because in this video he transforms from a little kid to a monster, to a body builder, even sporting a cowboy get-up and a Las Vegas pimp suit. If you watch this video on mute, you’d think this was a costume contest starring Busta Rhymes.

Wu-Tang Clan: “Gravel Pit”

Wu Tang as The Flintstones > The Flintstones as themselves. That is all.

Timbaland & Magoo: “Luv 2 Luv Ya”

Not too sure what direction Timbaland and Magoo were going in with this one, but creepy haunted houses, rapping ghosts, and Magoo transforming into Timbaland is spooky enough for me.  At least Timbo didn’t get smashed by that machine.

Missy Elliott: “Get Your Freak On”

Missy has always been known for her crazy visuals and out-of-this-world scenarios, and “Get Your Freak On” is a fine example of Missy at her best. The extending neck, the ghouls hanging upside down, and the odd looking white painted creatures make this video look like a scene straight out of a Missy Elliott Halloween party (if she had one).

De La Soul: “Oooh”

De La Soul channels The Wizard of Oz for this classic video. Having Redman as The Wiz and Rah Digga as Dorothy is the epitome of hip-hop Halloween. Not to mention they had Dave Chapelle watching the door of the club.
