Did Hammer Make Rap’s Worst Dis Track Ever?

Yesterday when MC Hammer released “Better Run Run,” his dis track against Jay-Z, he officially threw his hat in the ring for the title of hip-hop’s lamest attempt at beef.

His anger stems from a part of Jay’s verse on Kanye West‘s “So Appalled” where he speaks on Hammer’s past financial woes (“Hammer went broke, so you know I’m more focused/I lost 30 mil, so I spent another 30/’Cause unlike Hammer, 30 million can’t hurt me”). Hammer issued threats to Jay immediately via Twitter, calling him a sinner, saying he “romances the devil” and letting him know a response video was on the way.

At this stage, no one (besides possibly Hammer) is holding their breath for a response record.
