GameStop Robbery: Looted 100+ Copies of the Unreleased Call of Duty: Black Ops
Just to further prove how popular and wanted Call of Duty: Black Ops is, two gunmen with firearms robbed a GameStop around closing time Saturday night in the Festival at Bel Air shopping center in Hartford County, Maryland. They wielded semiautomatic weapons during their shopping spree and jacked cash, consoles and over 100 copies of Call of Duty: Black Ops.
While the robbery was taking place, two customers entered the store and were greeted at gunpoint. They were then forced into a storage area. After the two men got everything they wanted, they fled the scene and escaped in a white mini-van.
Deputies said the robbers might also be behind an Oct. 21 holdup at GameStop’s nearby Aberdeen, Md. location.
Luckily, no one was hurt. No arrests have been made and police are currently looking for the two men responsible for the robbery.
