Willow Smith seemed to come out of the blue, whipping her hair and confidently making over-the-top fashion statements. Being that she’s a 9-year-old child—why not? She’s on top of the world right now, having fun and experimenting with her look.

While we dig her style adventures, we still have our favorite—and not-so-favorite—Willow Smith fashion moments. We promise to take it easy on the adorable youngin’ as we go in on her getups:

Willow looks like she’s ready to take flight with all the wild flaps on her jacket.

This is what an overdose of leopard-print looks like. As if that alone weren’t hard on the eyes, add in the bold harem pants and chunky gold chain.

These pants/shoes must be fun to pull on. It’s one thing if they were black, but the candy pink throws the ensemble off.

Willow seems to love this “shoes-within-shoes” look. Well…we don’t.

Meet the newspaper superhero, complete with cape.

Willow looks casual and cute in this fun ensemble. For once, it looks like she effortlessly threw something on instead of meticulously matching everything.

Willow’s trend-right here, with camo print, a harem-style romper and combat boots. The little black jacket helps break up the bold one-piece outfit.

The military-inspired jacket, sleek black leggings and boots are on point.

A simple black-top-and-denim-short combo is given life with a gold studded belt and black boots with a chunky gold-chain design.

This is a grown, super fashionable look for the young songstress. Love the solid-colored outfit spiced up with chunky jewelry, a leopard-print clutch and studded shoes.
