Kanye West’s Mid-Flight Performance
Say what you want about Kanye West, but the man doesn’t hesitate to put on a good show, even if he’s 10,000 feet in the air. Recently, to the delight of some lucky passengers who happened to be on the same Delta Airlines Minneapolis–New York flight as the hip-hop star, ‘Ye performed a brief a cappella version of his 2005 hit “Gold Digger” over the flight intercom. One of the passengers on the plane told HollywoodLife.com:
“He was like, ‘Yo, this your n***a, Kanye. Then he couldn’t decide if he wanted to do ‘Good Life’ or ‘Gold Digger,’ so he was like, ‘I’ll just do a little bit of both.’ It was awesome…but I still have no idea how he got into the cockpit.”
Priceless! I wonder why stuff like this doesn’t happen to me when I fly? I’m lucky if I can get an extra pack of honey-roasted peanuts! A better question is, what the heck is ‘Ye doing on a commercial flight? SMH, damn recession is affecting everybody!
