Lil Wayne Banned From The Wynn Las Vegas
Although Lil Wayne hasn’t caused any trouble since his release from Rikers Island last week, some businesses are being proactive in preventing the hip-hop star from running afoul of the law on their premises. According to TMZ, Wayne has been banned from the Wynn Las Vegas:
“The rapper, who was recently released after an 8-month stint in Rikers Island, found out that he was banned from the Wynn Hotel—the destination for a post-performance party—because the hotel didn’t want Wayne to get in trouble on the premises.
TMZ reports that after a set with Weezy at the Hard Rock Hotel, fellow Young Money member Drake was informed that Wayne, who is prohibited from consuming alcohol for the next three years, wasn’t welcome at the Wynn. Wayne took the party elsewhere, opting to hang out at the Palms instead.”
Wayne joins Chris Brown in being banned for his past misdeeds. The “Deuces” singer has been forbidden from entering the U.K. ever since his Grammy-night assault against Rihanna nearly two years ago. So let me get this straight: Breezy is banned from the U.K., while their native daughter Naomi Campbell is free to enter this country whenever she likes to wreak havoc on some poor assistant’s head with her Blackberry? SMH.
I’ve stayed at the wynn numerous times. I can honestly see them pulling stuff like this. Let’s put it this way they have a certain type of clientele and staff that probably wouldn’t be to accepting of lil wayne and/or his entourage. They’ll gladly take the cast of jersey shore, miley cyrus etc.
But it’s vegas and there’s plenty of better placed to stay/party/spend money at.
Chris Brown’s situation happened in the US so why the UK got a problem seems like ignorance to me.
