Jay-Z‘s upcoming project, The Hits Collection Volume One, is releasing November 23rd and will contain a plethora of hits Hov’s put out thus far in his career. Jay has too many hit records to try and list, so the people putting together this CD tracklist must have had a difficult time deciding what to use. However, I’m feeling the tracklist though I think there are a few records missing from the list that should’ve definitely been put on Jay’s album. Granted, some these “missing” tracks were not necessarily “hit records” but if they were given more shine, I’m certain they would be up there in popularity with songs like “Run This Town,” “Roc Boys” and “Hard Knock Life.” Take a look at the songs I would add to the hits album.

“People Talking”

This song is perhaps my favorite Jay-Z track.  This track was a hidden gem on Hov’s Unplugged album so it never got the shine it deserved. From the classic Ski Beatz production on the song, to lyrics like:

“The man that I am and damn you don’t know
The harder you go at me the harder I flow
Lets do this
I’m just a mirror reflecting your image
The minute you switch up your face I pick up the pace”

Dope. No wonder this is Dame Dash’s favorite song from Jigga.
