Jay Electronica featuring Jay-Z and The Dream: “Shiny Suit Theory”

No less than a week after announcing his signing, Roc Nation artist Jay Electronica is already making noise with his new collaboration, “Shiny Suit Theory” with Jay-Z and The-Dream. For this to be the first track released from Elec since announcing his Roc Nation partnership, he’s definitely giving a good first impression. Not to mention Jay E holds his own with Jay-Z.

Lloyd Banks: “Everything You Got”

Some new Lloyd Banks from his upcoming album, Hunger For More 2, has made its way onto the internet. This is something I’d expect to hear from Lloyd. The hard hitting beat and gritty sound makes it appear as if the “punchline king” is taking it back to that original New York G-Unit sound that he’s known for.

Nelly featuring Dirty Money and Murphy Lee: “K.I.S.S.”

Nelly still knows how to make hit records and he has a new one, “K.I.S.S.,” featuring Dirty Money and Murphy Lee. Despite the fact that Nelly hasn’t really made as much noise as he did earlier in his career, as soon as I heard this record I was reminded of the fact he knows how to make those popular Z100-type records and hasn’t lost his touch. Hopefully his upcoming album doesn’t get overlooked.

Bun B featuring Drake: “Put It Down”

The “Trill O.G.” Bun B linked up with Drake for the new visuals for their song, “Put It Down.” Getting the legendary Bun B on a track with one of today’s hottest artists means you can expect nothing but great tunes and good sounds. Drake holds his own with Bun, and provides another one of his catchy, smooth hooks.
