Each of our native cities have some notoriety, whether it be for celebrities or tourist attractions. But what’s hot in your city?

To find the answer, we’re asking tastemakers and celebrities what’s hot in the streets of their town. From the best places to shop and eat, to what the city may be lacking—here’s your chance to get the inside scoop and leave comments with your input.

We’re kicking off this series with my hometown, the beautiful city of Toronto.

Toronto is known as one of the most multicultural locals in the world, and it’s Canada’s largest city. I lived there for the first 25 years of my life and it wasn’t until recently that many people took notice of this city—when Drake helped “put it on the map.”

“Drake is a dope song writer, and the city has rallied behind him”, says Taboo, a radio personality on Canada’s first hip hop station Flow 93.5.

Although you will inevitably see the rapper’s name sprinkled throughout this feature, we have seven other Torontonians—from singer Fefe Dobson to stylist Janet Han and yours truly—filling you in on what makes this city hot.

Don’t sleep on T.O. artists, search youtube for guys like P. Reign, JB, Mayhem Morearty and tons more. Drake is good but he isn’t the only artist putting on for T.O.
