Jay-Z Speaks At The New York Public Library

Jay-Z took a bit of time away from signing artists and brushing Beyoncé‘s lacefront to stop by the New York Public Library to discuss his new book Decoded yesterday. There he sat down with certified sex bomb, Dr. Cornel West, and the library’s Director of Public Programs, Paul Holdengräber.

For the unfamiliar, Decoded is pretty much a book detailing a variety of things including the life of Jay, his outlook on the industry, and the meanings behind several of his records—you know, the ones supposedly co-written by Satan and his goons.

So below you can view a brief clip of Hov’s discussion at the library and possibly get a kick out of Holdengräber’s accent as he reads from the book. Harry Belafonte and Lupe Fiasco were also (randomly) present. Decoded is in stores today, so go get a copy before Kanye West and/or the Illuminati clean out the shops!
