Sarah Palin Believes She Can Beat Barack Obama In 2012 Election
In a recent interview with ABC News‘ Barbara Walters, Sarah Palin stated with confidence she could unseat Barack Obama as president of the United States if given the chance to run for president in 2012. How far off base is she?
If you asked in 2008, Palin would be considered a joke. But due to Obama’s current approval rating diminishing, Palin’s proposed 2012 run for president should be looked at as a real threat—and it has nothing to do with politics.
It’s no secret the polarizing figure has become a pop culture icon. And we all know how being a popular figure supersedes any real talent in the new millennium. Palin’s reality television show debuted to record breaking ratings on TLC while her daughter Bristol continues to progress on ABC’s Dancing With The Stars, regardless of how terrible a dancer she is. Couple that with her Tea Party support group and the disapproval of Obama’s current run in office and you have a recipe that could see the first woman run the country. If Palin can get a fraction of those that watch her reality show and Bristol dance with two feet, she could probably pose a threat if running against Obama.
“I’m looking at the lay of the land now, and…trying to figure that out, if it’s a good thing for the country, for the discourse, for my family, if it’s a good thing,” Palin told Walters.
As long as Palin’s popularity continues to soar, the possibility she could run for President is a feasible one. How scary is that?

I remember when Bill Clinton was president. Hillary wanted to change our health care. She was basically told to shut up and sit down. So When Obama decided to change our health care its all good now???? Excuse me!
Sara Palin…..YOU GO GIRL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I certainly hope Mrs. Palin does not run for President. She does not have the experience. She is very right wing. She would be so much worse than I daresay Bush.
Sarah palins approval rating is lower then obamas, vastly lower, 57% of people dissaprove of Palin, She has a approval rating that ranges from 37% to even as low as 26% in another poll. Obama’s is 45%. Another reason that obama could easily destroy palin in a election as the red tide already past. In the new state of politics, the blue tide will come next election, bad timing for Palin. Independents see Palin as way to radical and would easily pick Obama over Palin. Im not say Palin wont get nominating seeing how conservative the republican party has got, im saying she could not even come close to the election Obama in a election.
The only thing Palin is good at is getting a crowd riled up. When it comes to giving ACTUAL answers to questions that are important to the American people, she doesn’t have any.
I certainly hope that Sarah Palin does NOT run for president. Her election, if it were to happen, would be like going from the frying pan into the fire, from Dumb to Dumber in charge.
Ok, she tried before and she says that same ol’?
TWO WORDS…..F#*@ PALIN! STRAIGHT UP THAT FAMILY IS JUST LIKE THE KARDASHIANS JUST WANNA BE ON TV SORRIE FOLKS I LIVE IN AK WHERE SHE RESIDES I COULD CARE LESS BYTCH IS MONEY HUNGRY AND THEIVING!!!!
The real people who could answer this question decisively would never bother to comment on something like this. Independents rate Palin incredibly poorly, and by overwhelming majorities do not want her in charge. Palin’s disapproval ratings among moderate Democrats and independents are stellar. Anyone who can do basic math can see that it’s essentially impossible for her to win a general election. Middle of the road people have middle of the road opinions about Obama. They don’t about Palin.
