DMC-12 x Nike 6.0 “DeLorean Dunk”
The love affair between Nike and the Back to The Future film series continues with the DMC-12 x Nike 6.0 “DeLorean Dunk.”
First there was the McFly Hyperdunk and then the proposed Air Mag and now a Nike partnership with the classic auto maker. While this kick may not be directly affiliated with the film, this is a collaboration with DMC-12, the makers of the iconic car, popularized by the flick. The shoes pay tribute to the car in all aspects of its form, including the brushed steel look surrounding the upper, and the color blocked sole which matches the car’s taillights.
While scoring an original DeLorean may be extremely difficult, scooping these shoes may not be any easier. The DeLorean Dunk will release on Black Friday in extremely limited quantities, so get on the wires early, and good luck procuring your pair.
