There may be no sneaker as genuinely iconic as the Converse All Star aka Chuck Taylors. Then there are the habitually slept on Converse Jack Purcell‘s too. All aficionados of the brand with the familiar one star and chevron logo now have a destination. On Friday, November 26) Converse Inc. is opening a flagship store in New York City. The specialty retail store is located at 560 Broadway and Prince Street, in the SoHo neighborhood for all you non-NYC folk.

According to Converse, the 7000 square foot space will offer the largest collection of Converse kicks in the world, as well as apparel and merchandise. That’s a good look since you probably can’t have one of the 648 pairs of red, white and blue Chucks arranged to look like a 13′ x 35′ American flag as seen from the storefront (photo above). Will you be stopping by? Don’t sweat it if you can’t. The best online collection of Converse product is at DrJays.com.
