Karl Lagerfeld, the genius behind Chanel, is bringing his high-end elegance to the streets—the king of fashion is set to debut a capsule collection with famed department store Macy’s. Pieces are expected in stores next fall.

Macy’s is the latest retailer to jump on the collaboration bandwagon (behind Target and H&M). According to People.com, this collection comes as part of Macy’s new “designer series, where the retailer will rotate different higher-end collections through their Impulse department every two months.” This isn’t Karl’s first partnership: We all freaked out over the pieces he presented with H&M back in 2004. While we don’t have word on the prices or the details of the collection, we have to ask ourselves “Does it really matter?” I mean, this is Karl. Fashionwise, this man can do no wrong.
