Blake Griffin Is The Real Deal
If there’s a sliver lining to the years of torment the Los Angeles Clippers have gone through with draft picks, it has to be the fact that Blake Griffin is every bit of a monster (probably more) that the Clips anticipated when they drafted him #1 in the 2009 draft. Too bad it took a year for him to get there.
An injury knocked Griffin out of his rookie season and, for some reason, everyone forgot about him. Standing at 6’10″ and 250lbs is a man with absolutely ridiculous athletic ability and a tremendous upside. The pinnacle of what Blake Griffin can do in the NBA came against the San Antonio Spurs when the lowly Clippers followed his lead and beat the team with the best record in the league 90-85.
Blake Griffin’s stat sheet: 31 points and 13 rebounds
And he made it look easy.
He dunked, he blew by opponents, he snatched rebounds and made Tim Duncan look like an old man. Yes kids, he’s for real.
Let’s not forget he brings excitement to the game with his monster slams. So while LeBron and company may be this season’s biggest storyline, we shouldn’t forget Blake Griffin may be the one we are all talking about before the year is over.
Here’s a highlight reel all ready to prove it.

HE’S A BEAST!
