French Montana: From The Streets To The Charts

Having just filmed the video for his current single “Choppa Choppa Down” with Waka Flocka Flame, new Mizay Entertainment signee French Montana is slowly seeing his music career transition from the streets to the charts.

I sat down with French (born Karim Kharbouch) to talk about his relationship with Mizay CEO Debra “Aunt Deb” Antney (Waka’s mother and former manager of Nicki Minaj and Gucci Mane), his current status with Akon‘s Konvict Music label, his notorious Cocaine City and Coke Wave mixtape/DVD series and an update on his “brother” Max B.
