Johnny Nunez Launches Signature New Era Fitted
Last night in New York, famed celebrity photographer Johnny Nunez launched his New Era limited edition fitted celebrating the influential work of his EYE CAN foundation.
With DJ Cassidy providing the music and industry peers including Freakey Zeekey, June Ambrose, O’Neal McKnight and Sean Kingston coming out to support, Nunez announced a portion of sales from the 59FIFTY cap (which has Braille inscribed on the brim that says “history repeats itself, opportunity does not, be ready”) go directly to EYE CAN, a non-profit organization working to improve the lives and opportunities of foster care youth and the visually impaired in order to see a better future.
“I feel this event is historic and we’re doing something that has never been done before,” Nunez said. “I’m creating fashion by incorporating Braille for the visually impaired and blind. I am honored to have this opportunity.”
