Curren$y Talks Friendship With Mack Maine, Working With Lil Wayne Again

Today is a good day for hip-hop. In a recent sit down with Shaheem Reid for part four of his Talking Fly series, Curren$y spoke on his relationship with Young Money president/artist Mack Maine. For those who don’t know, Curren$y was one of the first artist signed to Lil Wayne‘s Young Money imprint but he left the label before his debut album could see the light of day. After much speculation as to where Spitta stands with the YM crew, he gives some insight on what the deal is and if he’d work with Wayne again. It’d be great to hear Curren$y and Weezy’s new styles together on a track. Another, “Where Da Cash At” or “Pineapple Sunkiss” would be nice. Peep Sha and Spitta chopping it up below:
