Contrary to the roles he typically plays on the big screen, Mike Epps ain’t no punk! According to TMZ, the comedian was involved in a post-Thanksgiving altercation with a pap last weekend at the Key Club in Detroit that almost turned into a mini-riot. Reportedly, Epps was at the soul food hotspot celebrating his wife’s birthday when a photographer began talking smack to the couple while ignoring requests to stop filming the private fête. The Next Day Air actor told TMZ:

“It was a private celebration for my wife’s birthday. I asked the photographer numerous times not to film, but he refused to let up. I then attempted to retrieve the tape from the camera.”

He attempted to retrieve the tape all right…with a mean right hook to the photog’s head! From the looks of it, Day-Day just might be the comedy world’s answer to Sean Penn when it comes to dealing with the paparazzi. Anyway, check out the entire fracas in the video below:
