Eve featuring Swizz Beatz: “Hot Steppa #1″
Swizz Beatz is going hard like he has something to prove. He keeps the heat coming once again for his Monster Mondays music giveaways, this time putting out a new track with one of hip-hop’s leading ladies, Eve. After a break from the music scene, it’s good to hear a new Eve track, especially one that sounds like this. Play “Hot Steppa #1″ to get your week started.
Busta Rhymes: “I’m Mad”
I’m kind of mad at Busta Rhymes for this one. I was expecting a audio movie from Bussa Bus, but this track is a let down. Maybe the dramatic beginning got me overexcited, but Busta has been in the game too long to be putting out “OK” records. I’ll guess this will have to do from the Flipmode general for now.
Jagged Edge: “I Need A Woman”
R&B group Jagged Edge still have what it takes to sound great. Their new track, “I Need A Woman” is evidence the quartet can still hit those notes and sing as good a tune as their many hits from back in the 90′s.
Tyga featuring The Game, Mario: “Drink The Night Away”
Tyga teams up with fellow West Coast artist The Game and R&B singer Mario for his song, “Drink The Night Away.” With production by The Neptunes, this new Tyga record is sure to sound good anywhere you play it. It’s great to see Tyga growing as an artist. He’s so far from “Coconut Juice.”
