Move Over Nicki! Janet Jackson’s A Real Barbie

Millions of girls grew up adoring Janet Jackson and now those women can relive their childhood by bidding for her Barbie doll.

Mattel has produced a one-of-a-kind doll that’s up for auction at CharityBuzz.com (bids are currently at the $1000 mark). Proceeds will be donated to Project Angel Food, a non-profit that delivers meals to Los Angeles-area families affected by terminal illnesses.

Janet’s Barbie outfit is inspired by the sexy black and red ensemble she wore on American Idol earlier this year. “I knew we had to recreate that look for her one of a kind doll,” said Jackline Gonzalez, designer for Mattel.
